The Pioneer(26th Feb):
The State Government has decided to set up an Advanced Scientific Research Centre in Bhubaneswar. A decision to this effect was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday at the State Secretariat. The centre will be developed with the collaboration of Noval Research Centre of Washington and the State Government's Science and Technology Department. Dr.Bhaktabandhu Rath of Noval Research Centre will provide the necessary help. The State Government will provide one acre of land for the upcoming Research Centre. Chief Secretary Ajit Tripathy, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Bijay Patnaik attended the meeting.
