Orissa Chief minister Mr Naveen Patnaik announced a package for the trouble torn Kandhamal district. The package includes setting up of a B Ed College at Phulbani ,the district head quarter of Kandhamal,a Vocational Training Institute, a Horticulture Development Training Center and a Nursery to provide saplings to people. Decisions to this effect were taken at a high level meeting chaired by the Chief Minister.With the help of the State Employment Mission, training programmes would be implemented for enhancing the skills of the unemployed youths of the district.. The aim is to develop Education, Agriculture, Horticulture and to provide Self Employment opportunities to the youths of Kandhamal district.
