Students of KIIT University here have prepared a blueprint for an innovative electronic device, known as Helicopter-Based Video Analysing System. Six final year students of the BTech programme developed the project under the guidance of S Pahadsingh, Sudhakar Sahoo and Prof AK Sen, senior faculty members of the university.
The device will be useful for spying purposes and can also provide umpiring decision support in cricket matches. The students involved in the project are Sitesh Dash, Rupaksen Nayak, Shyam Sundar Jena, Piyush Lenka, Mahima Prasad Mohanty and Sandeep Kumar Das.
Congratulating the students for the achievement, founder of the KIIT Group of Institutions Dr A Samanta pointed out that the students of KIIT have made their marks by their outstanding performances in academics, placements, sports and co-curricular activities.
