Four candidates were declared elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Orissa on Wednesday. The Returning Officer in-charge of the Rajya Sabha polls declared the four leaders elected unopposed as they were the contenders for an equal number of seats.
Those elected to the Rajya Sabha were Mangala Kisan and Renubala Pradhan of the Biju Janata Dal, Ramachandra Khuntia of the Congress and Balbir Punj of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
