Orissa plans 2 Reservoirs.

To counter Andhra Pradesh government’s proposed off-shore project on the Mahendrataneya river, Orissa government is planning to set up two reservoirs one at Gudari village in Rayagada block on the Bansadhara river and second one at upper end of Gosani and Rayagada blocks on the Mahendrataneya river, said state energy, IT and culture minister Mr Surjya Narayan Patro here today.The minister hopes that these two projects will boost irrigation and agriculture of the concerned regions to a great extent.
