There would be no ban on the recruitment process in 2009-10, said Finance Minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadai on the floor of the Assembly on Monday. Appointments would be given for 1,52,710 posts. Those who were given appointment on a contract basis would be regularised. "Judge Courts will be set up in 16 districts," he said.
He further said that the MoU that was signed with the Centre on ban of recruitment will continue for another one year. After one year, all the bans would be lifted. Special drive will be taken to fill up 38,808 posts. Concurrence has been given to fill up 35,238 posts in class three and four from 2004-05 to 2007-08.
