Orissa CM writes to PM to consider the demands of mineral rich-States

Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday wrote a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh urging him to consider the demands of mineral rich-States before the finalisation of the National Mineral policy. "All the mineral rich States will be thankful if the National Mineral Policy duly amended before it is placed before the Union Cabinet.This is essential as the welfare and development of the people of the mineral-based States is to large extent dependant upon the National Mineral Policy," he stated in his letter
